Jaten Vandiver

Jaten founded JV Mechanics after a career spent fixing anything with an engine, a motor, or a hydraulic line. He started this business to bring hands-on, dependable repair work directly to Nampa-area driveways and job sites — no shop visit required.

  • Army Mechanic (91A)
    Kept military vehicles and equipment running, including a deployment to the Middle East.
  • Heavy Equipment & Small Engines
    Forklifts, lawn equipment, and everything in between.
  • Hydraulic Technician, Altec
    Serviced and repaired hydraulic bucket trucks and equipment.
  • Founder, JV Mechanics
    Bringing that experience to mobile repair in Nampa, ID.

Certifications & Training

  • EPA 608 Certification — Type I, Type II & Type III (Universal)
  • EPA 609 Certification — Motor Vehicle A/C

Currently servicing small engines through diesel trucks. Not yet equipped for tractor or big rig service, and AC/refrigerant work is limited — call to confirm scope before scheduling.
